Fake Snacks Seized

( Phnom Penh):  On 12 February 2019, cooperation between local authorities cracked down on cases of packing and distributing fraudulent packaging with the trademarks of Lotus and Bento in Damnak Thom Village, Sangkat Steung Mean Chey 2, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

The cops found packaging and products weighing 451 kilograms. According to the evidence, the deputy prosecutor has ordered the case to be investigated by the Department of Anti-Economic Crimes and to bring local owner, Lor Sonthoeun in for questioning. 

The operation is based on a complaint from Srinanaporn Marketing Co., Ltd, which owns the brands.
