Chinese Men Arrested in Ongoing Resort Case

Preah Sihanouk: Two Chinese men were sent to the provincial court on the afternoon February 13, 2019, after being arrested on 11 February 2019 on charges of theft. 

The police officers Two Chinese suspects are accused of theft of electrical equipment from Malibu guesthouse in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

The first suspect, Liu Jian, a 36-year-old male, a businessman and second, Long Kun, a Chinese man 31 currently live in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

A MERCEDES 12 seat and four mobile phones were also seized from the pair.

*It was reported in Chinese media that a Chinese investor claimed his lease at Malibu was cut short 3 years into a 30 year deal. Whether this is related to the case is not yet known, there may be updates from Chinese sources later. Rasmei News
