Boy Abandoned in PP

Phnom Penh: A boy aged around 1 year old was found in a pile of rubbish on a plot of land, seemingly dumped by his parents.

The discovery was made on a plot of land near the January Bridge. in Sangkat Phsar Depot III, Khan Toul Kork, on February 12, 2019.

After being contacted, local authorities came down the scene and searched for more than three hours to see if the parents or relatives would come to find the boy.

The police decided to bring him to the police station of Depot III administration to contact the Department of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation in Phnom Penh to take care of him. Rasmei News
