Calls For Young Men to “Respect Tradition” on Valentines Day

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the 14th of February, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts issued a call to all young men not to use the day in the wrong way.

 Valentine’s Day is used to show affection for loved ones, whether friends, family or parents, you can buy flowers or gifts for them.

Please note, Valentine’s Day is not a Cambodian tradition. Please all, especially young men, do not misunderstand the traditions that we have preserved for a long time. The preservation of the good traditional culture is the duty of all of us. Khmer Note
