Siem Reap: A domestic dispute between spouses ended in a man’s death.
A 24 year old military officer named Chheng was killed by his 19 year old wife Boeng Sokleap in Banteay Serei district..
It is reported that a family dispute between in-laws caused the woman to seek a divorce. After the husband refused, a violent argument broke out, in which the victim was hacked with a cleaver.
He was rushed to hospital, but died shortly afterwards. The suspect was detained and went to court on February 4.
