Monk Wins a Hundred Mill

Kampong Speu: A monk has won 100 million Riels ($25,000) from a can of Carabao drink. Khim Kong was awarded the prizein Rolang Koul commune, Samrong Torng district, Kampong Speu province.

The monk the winning can was given to him last weekend by the owner of a house he went to bless. He then shared the beverage with his student, aged 16, after a meal in the pagoda. The student then saw the 100 million Riels ring pull.

He added that after receiving the 100 million riel bonus, he would distribute 50 million Riels to poor students and would give the rest to his family.
