Farmer Unearths Old Rockets

Oddar Meanchey province: A farmer plowing his land unearthed a batch of rockets buried since the war, and luckily was not blown up.

 The incident took place at 3:30 pm on 31 January 2019 in Samrong District, Oddar Meanchey Province.

Phas Sophea, a 30-year-old male was preparing a new rice field when he struck the 11 UXOs. He Reported to the police, who came to check.

The police confirmed the rounds were still live and have contacted a de-mining group to come and dispose of them.
