Escaped Prey Sar Gardener Still on the Run
Phnom Penh: At 11:20 am on January 31, 2019, an inmate incarcerated in Prey Sar’s Correctional Center 1 did a jail break while working in the prison’s vegetable garden.
According to the police, at about 10 am, prisoners were taken to the vegetable garden to water and cut some greens. Somehow one inmates escaped.
The escapee was named as Kem Mao, a 30-year-old male, who was imprisoned on February 27, 2018 for theft offences.
According to the source, after the prsioner escaped, a police search was called, but found no trace of the him. The manhunt continues.
