Fake Cigarette Gang Deported to Shanghai
Phnom Penh: At 2:25 PM on 30 January 2019, the Department of Investigation and Procedure of the General Department of Immigration cooperated with police from China to extradite 13 Chinese people, including two women.
The 13 Chinese nationals were criminals who fled from China to hide their illegalfake cigarette business in the Kingdom of Cambodia for export to China and other countries.
They were arrested on January 15-16, 2019 in Kandal province.
Chinese authorities commissioned a special flight from Phnom Penh International Airport to take the suspects to continue legal procedures in Shanghai, China.
