Spiked ABC Beer Drinking Leads to Robbery

Battambang: A 63-year-old man who owns a guesthouse began drinking ABC stout with some guests and fell unconscious.

When he awoke, cash, jewellry, watches and a phone were missing, along with his drinking partners.

The incident occurred around 9:30 pm on January 27, 2019, in Group 17, Po Village, 1, Kraing Commune, Moung Russey District, Battambang Province.

Police officers later detained three suspects the next day.

 The three suspects were: 1-Chea Chenda (female), 54 years old. Secondly, 16-year-old Long Srey Ya (female) live in 4 Village, Sangkat Preah Ponlea, Serei Saophoan, Banteay Mean Chey, and 3- 24 year old Cheng Seiha, Taset village, Poub commune, Tramkok district, Takeo province.

The victim Son Yim, a 63-year-old male, was invited to drink ABC stout with the suspects, unaware that his brew also had crushed up sleeping tablets added. The alcohol and downers caused him to fall into a deep sleep, after which, the three took the chance to rob him.

At present, suspects and evidence have been sent to the provincial criminal court for legal action.
