10 Year Old Loses Fingers and Eye to UXO
Preah Vihear: Preah Vihear Police warned people living in border areas and old army locations should take precautions against high explosive munitions which can still be found in the ground.
On January 26, 2019, Chiv Vichai, a 10-year-old boy, a school student from Choam Ksan village lost 4 fingers and his right eye after an 80mm round exploded. The victim was taken to Chreang Ksan Referral Hospital.
