Capitol Bus Crash Kills Schoolgirl
Kampong Thom: On January 25, 2019, a schoolgirl died at the scene and another was seriously injured after a Capitol bus hit their motorcycle on National Road 6, Lom Tong Village, Kampong Chhnang Commune, Stong District, Kampong Thom Province.
Ran Chanta, male, 18 years, living in Lau commune Pouk District, Stoung District, Kompong Thom Province, the motorcycle rider was seriously injured and passenger Rev Pheap, a 17 year old female student died at the scene. Neither were wearing helmets.
The driver of the bus fled before police arrived.
