“The prices of Westport (Sihanoukville) have soared, and the resulting profits are dazzling. Some of the land and real estate that have already been signed and leased have had contracts terminated, resulting in an increasing number of related disputes.

Luo Jian, the operator of the Westport Malibu Resort, told the Angkor Times reporter that he had signed a 30-year contract with the landlord. It is only three later that the landlord broke the contract and he left his investment.

“It is said that the Westport is full of gold, but it is also a pit, all over the place!” he said”.
