Two Chinese and a Khmer Arrested Over Fraud
Kandal: Police have detained three suspects; two Chinese and one Cambodian, while another escaped.
The arrests occurred at 10:10 am on January 23, 2019, at Koki Village, Koki Commune, Kien Svay District, Kandal Province.
Suspect of the suspects: 1. Chen Minfen, male 50 years old Chinese, second, Chinchhu, male, 35, Chinese, and 3 male name Men Vintet, male, 37, a Cambodian driving the car.
The victim was identified as Hak Heang, a 29-year jewelry seller and money changer. The exact details are unclear, but it appears the men attempted to defraud the victim.
Police seized $ 5040 from the suspects, and 40,000,000 Riel ($10,000) belonging to the victim. A black Toyota car used by the suspects was also taken.
