Dredging Ship Kills Fishing Boy

Kandal: Deputy Inspector of the Kandal Traffic police said that a sand dredging ship collided with a fishing boat, causing the death of a 2 year old boy.

The incident is happened on 13 January 2019 near Prek Thong village, Prek Luong commune, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province.

The accident happened between dredging boat opened by a Vietnamese crew, which collided with a small fishing boat with a family on board, causing a boy on the smaller vessel to fall into the river and drown. His body has not yet been recovered.
