New Trains Arrive

Sihanoukville:  On the morning of January 8, 2019, a modern-made passenger train purchased from Mexico by Royal Railways Cambodia arrived in the country.

The train has two engines at both the front and rear, with the latest high security technology.

Carriages have wheelchair access, bathrooms, air conditioning, automatic door, luggage space, along with Wifi, TV, and video information.

The new train will be used to transport passengers from the station to Phnom Penh International Airport. It is much more modern than the trains currently in use.

The journey to and from the airport will take, approximately, 25 minutes.
