Drunken Turk Arrested Outside Embassy (Over Stay)

Phnom Penh: On January 9, 2019, at 1:00 pm, police took in a foreigner named MAGDEN EKIM YUSUF, a 40-year-old Turkish male after he was drunk and causing problems outside the Turkish Embassy.

Embassy staff suggested the man be sent to the Bureau of Investigation.

The police then decided to take the man to the Immigration Office in Khan Daun Penh.

They found his entry to Cambodia was on November 30, 2018, and had been staying at Riverside Guesthouse, Sangkat Phsar Kandal 1, Khan Daun Penh.

According to the inquiry, as well as shouting outside the embassy, the man was over staying his visa, which expired on December 30, 2018 and he was held at the General Department for the further proceedings. https://www.postnews.com.kh/local/403141
