Siem Reap: According to the Ministry of Interior, at around 01:50 am on December 30, 2018 at Siem Reap Referral Center a foreigner died.
Police said that the victim, Malaysian police officer DANNIS MATHA S VETHAMUTHU, male, born February 28, 1958, was a tourist arriving in the Kingdom of Cambodia on December 27, 2018 via Siem Reap International Airport.
According to the report, at 8:30 am on December 28, 2018, he became seriously ill with pains in his abdomen and was taken to Royal Angkor Hospital.
Doctors were unable to treat him, and at 1 pm on the same day his wife decided to transfer him to Siem Reap Referal Hospital for surgery. On December 30, 2018, he died after an operation. https://www.postnews.com.kh/local/400231
