Vietnamese Army Photos of Liberation

Vietnam is commemorating the 40th anniversary of the invasion of Cambodia and overthrow of the Khmer Rouge regime. Although initial victory was swift, a 10 year occupation and bloody guerrilla war cost around 30,000 or more Vietnamese lives.

These photos were taken during the first months of the liberation campaign.
