10 Chinese Arrested for Online Sex Crimes

Phnom Penh: On December 25, 2018, at 10:00 am, Police from the Office of Investigation and Immigration raided properties in Khan Chbar Ampov.

As a result, a total of 10 Chinese nationals were arrested for having sexually exploited young women and minors in China.

Whether this is related to child pornography or VoIP scamming is not clear at this time.

The 10 were detained and sent to the General Department to carry out the proceedings of the law.

As the victims appear to be in China, it is likely they will be deported to answer charges there.
