Chinese Arrested for Extortion and Firearms
Sihanoukville: At 13:30 on December 4, 2018, Preah Vihear Provincial Police Chief of Police, led by Lieutenant Colonel Chheng Vuthy, director of the department, clamped down on an extortion ring in Group 42, 5, Sangkat 4 Sihanoukville, Sihanouk Province.
Nine Chinese nationals, including two victims, were taken for questioning. A K59 pistol, steel handcuffs, rubber sticks and a number of other materials were seized as evidence.
The suspects have been sent to the provincial military police force for further interrogation.
