Man Shot After Shootout With Cops

Phnom Penh: According to preliminary reports, a man was shot by police at around 4:00 pm on December 4, 2018. Dangkor District police were chasing the suspect after an undisclosed earlier crime.

When the man was cornered near Thmey Thmey  in Stung Meanchey III district, he pulled out a pistol and began shooting at cops. Police returned fire with 3 shots, at least on of which hit the man in the leg. He was then arrested and taken away.
