Japanese Runner Dies at Angkor Half Marathon

Siem Reap: On December 2, 2018, at 7am, a foreigner died between Ta Prohm and Lethay Temple in Nokor Thom commune, Siem Reap town, Siem Reap province.

The victim was identified as Sakurai Norihito, a 61-year-old Japanese, died of a heart attack while running. After the incident, the competent authorities went down to check and took the body to the provincial hospital, waiting for the family to arrive.
