( Phnom Penh): At least 142 people were killed (19 women) and 442 others seriously injured in traffic accidents throughout November 2018, according to a report by the Traffic Police Department and the Public Order of the National Police Commission.
The report states that in November 2018, there were 287 road accidents, 12 less than October 2018 (but 45 more than September), resulting in 142 deaths and 442 injuries.
The most common cause of accidents were driving speed, drunken driving, races, traffic violations and drowsiness.
