Loose Lips Get You Nicked

Phnom Penh: A drunk man riding on a bus told another passenger that he had killed a man and was escaping the crime with a pistol. An immigration officer, dressed in civilian clothes, overheard the conversation and contacted police.

The incident happened at 9 pm on November 28, 2018 along Monivong Boulevard.

The man was identified as Chhun Sari, 29.

Police were waiting for the man at the bus stop. The suspect tried to escape but was detained and sent to the Chamkarman Police Inspectorate for further inquiries and proceedings.
