Flashy Games Arcade Visited by Cops

Phnom Penh: A entertainment and gambling complex “1618 Bobbiya”,  along Monivong Road, Toul Kork was visited by police and Royal Gendarmerie on November 29th.

One of the unidentified sources said that the arcade, popular with Chinese people,  did not have proper permissions to operate casino style games (fruit machines, fish game tables etc.).

Nobody was arrested after the visit, and journalists were kept away and given very little information.

After a friendly chat with the owners, it is still unsure whether the location will remain open, or if the offending games will be removed.
