Chinese police will charter a special plane to take 235 Chinese nationals arrested for VOIP scams, according to the Department of Investigation and Procedure of the General Department of Immigration.
The aircraft will be arrive in around two weeks. Currently all 235 Chinese are being held in the General Department of Immigration.
The group are accused of extorting money via VOIP in China, using Cambodia as a base.
The arrests were made on November 26, 2018 in Tram Kok and Bati districts, Takeo province.
