A tree fell onto cars and caused damage at 3:40 pm on November 26, 2018 along Norodom Boulevard at the corner of Street 240 in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district. Luckily no one was injured.
Authorities later went to work with chainsaws and cut the tree up, freeing the trapped vehicles.
Blame and any compensation claims against the city are unlikely, deemed an ‘Act of God’, the owners will probably have to pay for repairs themselves.
