Arrests Made Over Attempted Murder of Chinese Men
Sihanoukville: On November 20, 2018, at 2:00 pm, in Village 3, Sangkat 3, City, Preah Sihanouk Province, there was an attempt to murder three Chinese men.
Four men attacked the Chinese with knives.
The first victim, LIANG GUIBIN, a 26 year old casino staff suffered serious injuries and is currently being treated at Preah Sihanouk Referral Hospital.
The second, ZHOU WENBING, 27, who also works in a casino, is undergoing treatment at Preah Sihanouk provincial hospital.
The third, WANG SI REA, a 25-year-old Chinese tourist, was seriously injured and taken to Phnom Penh Hospital.
Following the complaints of the victims, the police force conducted a careful investigation and arrested two suspects and later another accomplice on November 24, 2018 at 22:00.
The three Cambodia suspects are all 18 years old. They confessed to intentionally trying to murder the Chinese, because they were angry that the victims were drinking and one hugged the suspect’s girlfriend.
They said they hate the Chinese, because the Chinese came to the country and began making a mess.
Evidence taken included: 1 sword, 1 stainless steel baton and 1 motorcycle.
The force of the Criminal Criminal Police Office is building a case to the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Court of First Instance.
