Monk Detained After Woman Stabbed

Banteay Meanchey: Police force detained a monk on November 24, 2018, in Poipet town, Banteay Meanchey province.

Initial reports suggest the man of the orange cloth stabbed a woman with a knife while travelling in a car.

After the incident, the woman escaped from the Highlander and ran for help, bleeding.

Later, the woman was transported to hospital for treatment, and the monk was arrested and taken to the city’s police station.

There have been no reasons for the motive, but there is suspicion of a triangle love going on between the monk, woman and a third party.

This follows another love triangle case involving monks.
