Preah Sihanouk Province: Work has begun on Cheung Special Economic Zone, located in Trapeang Ror village, Cheung Ko commune, Prey Nub district, Preah Sihanouk province. A ground breaking ceremony took place on the morning of November 15, 2018.
The Special Economic Zone, owned by Cambodian Chemist GSZ Company, is on a 133 hectare site, close to National Road No. 4, about 53 kilometers from Sihanoukville.
It is the second special economic zone in the province, the first already employs tens of thousands of workers in many factories.
