Phnom Penh: The Forestry Administration’s Wildlife Crime Prevention Task Force, in cooperation with the Royal Gendarmerie visited a store selling sculptures and trinkets on November 12, 2018.
The shop is located at No. 166, Street 369, Phum Chong Village, Chbar Ampov II, Khan Chbar Ampov.
The owner was named as Mok Tip Raisi, female, 22
In the search, police found wildlife parts including elephant ivory, a number of other teeth and bones from endangered animals such as tigers, along with other materials. All wildlife samples exhibited and sold without authorization from the Forestry Administration have been temporarily withdrawn and the case will be sent to the court to decide legal action.
