Man Nearly Loses Hand Over Cock Wager
(Kompong Speu): Two groups of gamblers clashed and a man nearly got his hand hacked off after a row over the payment of a bet.
The incident occurred at an illegal cockfighting site in Prey Pong Village, Roka Koh Commune, Kong Pisey District, Kampong Speu Province on November 10.
The victim, Bun Srey, 26, is from Kandal Province. Hospital. The 15-year-old attacker, named as Huot Louvery, from Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province, fled.
Police are investigating the case and are ready to make an arrest. Whether the appendage can be saved or not is, as yet, unclear.
