Shots Fired After Accident

Phnom Penh: A  man dressed in civilian clothing took a gun and fired 6 rounds after a traffic accident in central Phnom Penh.

The incident happened at 2:10 am on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in front of Sambok Khmou auto parts store on Street 93), near Psar Thmey.

Witnesses said that a car collided with the motorcycle, injuring the rider.

Another man who had been sitting near the scene then fired off six gunshots (pictures only show five empties) at the car as it drove off. The gunman also fled before cops showed up.

After the incident, the victim was taken to a rescue clinic.

After the incident, the local police came and picked up the empty casings and took the victim’s motorbike to the station.
