Illegal Digging Halted in Sisophon

Banteay Meanchey: On November 7, 2018, the Royal Gendarmerie forces stopped illegally digging of the hill at Kangva village, Sangkat Kampong Svay, Sisophon City, Banteay Meanchey province.

The force operate came down to stop the Saang Kong Company from illegal activities at the quarry, and arrested 6 people, seizing evidence including 3 excavators and 9 trucks.

The case is now being fully investigated and prepared for legal proceedings.
