Phnom Penh: A man died and another was seriously injured after a car hit a motorcycle and fled, leaving the license plates at the scene.
The incident happened at 1:40 am local time on November 8, 2018 along the 128 Street and 215 in Veal Vong commune, Khan 7 Makara.
Chim Sokheng, a 26-year-old male from Prey Veng province was killed. The other man was seriously injured.
According to the source, a white car “Phnom Penh 2Y-9447” plates was traveling along 215 at a high speed as it approached the crossroads with 128 (Kampuchea Krom Blvd). At the intersection, the car hit a motorcycle with the two men on, dragging it for 20 metres.
The car then drove off, leaving the number plate behind. An ambulance took the victims to hospital, but one was already dead.
