Pakistani’s Purloined Property Returned, Almost

Phnom Penh: A robber who broke through a locked door and stole a foreigner’s property was arrested at 18:00 on November 2, 2018, at the National Cinema Street 130, Sangkat Phsar Chas, Khan Daun Penh.

The suspect, Tep Savy, a 36-year-old male, stole from victim, ILTAF HUSSAIN, a 45-year-old male from Pakistan, the owner of  Penanya, located at 112, 136, Sangkat Phsar Kandal II, Khan Daun Penh.

According to sources, before the incident, the victim closed and locked the door and went to bed at his home near  Kandal Market. On the morning of October 28, 2018, at 8:00 pm, he returned to the shop, saw the doors open, and discovered there were missing goods in the shop, and filed a complaint at the Central Police Station.

After receiving a police force complaint, the 2nd Central Police Station cooperated with the justice force of the Daun Penh Police Inspectorate to investigate and arrested  the suspect.

A passport, ID card, workbook, vehicle identification card, bank card and two computers were returned

Another computer, 3,000 Hong Kong dollars, $ 100, and six white iPhone 6 phones are still missing.

The suspects was sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court.
