You Weren’t Supposed to Take the Bloody Doors Off!

Phnom Penh: A man was arrested after stealing a metal gate from a factory.

The incident happened at 2:50 am on November 2, 2018, near Tuol Svay Prey Primary School in Chamkarmon district.

The suspect, 21-year-old So Savuth, is a scrap collector from Sen Sok district.

According to the workers, the store had previously lost one of its doors during the night. On this night workers were sleeping and heard sounds from outside.

When they woke up and went outside, they saw the factory gate loaded on a trailer and heading off down the street. They gave chase and police joined in, until the suspect abandoned his wheels and ran off. He was apprehended along Street 199.

At present, suspect and witnesses, have to be brought to Tuol Svay Prey II, for questioning and the case will be sent to court for legal action.
