Phnom Penh: To prevent flooding in the city and ensure a working sewerage system, the Japanese government has decided to provide grants to Phnom Penh Capital City with an estimated value of $ 30 million.
The work, overseen by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) , will begin by the end of next month.
The project will be implemented at locations such as Toul Kork, 2 km of drainage networks in the area of Khan Daun Penh, an underground water reservoir and pumping station in front of Council for the Development of Cambodia CDC and installation of automatic mechanics to collect garbage at Chaktomuk pumping station.
