Gun Runners Busted On Way To Vietnam
Tbong Khmum: 35 pistols were seized on the road leading to Vietnam border on 28 th. October 2018 at 11:20 am in Memot district.
According to a confession from the truck owner, they were transporting goods from Olympic Market in Phnom Penh to Vietnam, but didn’t know what the contents were.
Under the orders of the Royal Gendarmerie Commander-in-Chief and coordinated by Hieng Sopheak, the prosecutor in Tbong Khmum, the owner of the goods, the drivers and the illegal weapons were handed to the Tbong Khmum Military Police Command to act accordingly.
