Phnom Penh: Ta Koy pagoda in Sangkat Veal Sbov, Khan Chbar Ampov, has begun to slip into the river after serious erosion affected the riverbank.
The landslide occurred over two days, from October 20-21, 2018.
According to sources from the local people, TVFB reported that the land that had collapsed because of sand dredging work being done off-shore by large boats.
After the collapse, work is being done to try to prevent further damage, but some fear this may be a futile effort.
