Don’t Whizz on the Electric Fence
Phnom Penh: The Teuk Thlar Administration has detained an elderly man in Sen Sok on October 20, 2018 at 14:30.
Sen Sok district police chief Colonel Hun Meng Vang said that the suspect, Pa Sothy, male, 65 had set up an electric fence around his property after repeatedly having things stolen.
The victim, Phan Panha, male 15 years old, was injured by this makeshift security set up.
The inspector said that that the live wires were installed on October 5, 2018. On October 20, 2018, the victim was walking past when he felt the urge to urinate.
When taking hold of the fence for balance, the electric current shocked him, burning five fingers and knocking him out. He was then taken to the Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital.
After the incident, people reported the old man to the cops, who arrested and questioned him at the Sen Sok police inspector. The suspect is currently detained at the Sen Sok Police Inspectorate to follow the procedure.
