Chinese (or Taiwanese) Man Strapped With 2kg of Meth

Immigration police cooperated with the Customs Department and detained a Chinese national with 1994,72 gram of drugs on Oct. 22, 2018. The smuggler was arrested while attempting to leaveCambodia via the Phnom Penh International Airport.

The suspect was named as YU WEI YI, a Chinese national. *Edit,: a later report says he was holding a Taiwanese passport

The suspect was stopped at a customs checkpoint in Phnom Penh International Airport. A pat down revealed a total of four packages of methamphetamine, weighing 1994.72 grams , were found strapped to his thighs and body.
