Man Stabbed and Dumped on Road
Kandal: At 8.40pm on the 12th of October 2018, at Prak Tamak Bridge, Kandal Province, four youths riding two motorbikes were seen attacking another man with a knife. The victim was stabbed in the face, neck and eye, and died at the scene.
The motive isn’t clear, but it may have been a robbery attempt for the victim’s motorcycle.
The victim was named as Ly Phearith, an 18-year-old.
After the incident, local authorities came to check the body by the local police, who concluded it was a murder case. Currently, the body has been handed to the family for the traditional festivities.
