I Swear….

Phnom Penh: After a woman lost a gold necklace, she placed suspicion at the laundry lady, who denied all knowledge. The necklace, was, according to the woman, forgotten in a pair of trousers that had been sent off to clean.

Taking the  matter down the police station on October 1, 2018,  Sen Sok district cops could not do much without evidence of a crime.

Finally, only one way was possible. According to Khmer belief, the two parties burned 3 incense sticks, swearing oaths in order to end the matter.

They then returned to their respective homes.
