28 Guns Seized and 8 Subversives in Court
Phnom Penh: A group of eight people have been detained in connection with illegal arms trading, terrorism and other subversive activities.
The 8 suspects were arrested In Kampong Speu, Kampot and Pursat in late September 2018. Police were sent to court on September 30, 2018.
The eight arrested suspects
According to the report, 28 weapons that were seized, were hidden by suspects on land in Phnom Penh, Chhouk district, Kampot province and Boeng Sdok village, Svay Sro commune, Krakor district, Pursat province.
According police, a suspect confessed that his group wanted to revolt against the government and seek financial resources.

And the case has been referred to the Investigating Judge to proceed with the proceedings
