Car Chop Shop Raided

Kandal province: According to a preliminary report, a coalition of police forces raided a vehicle repair site, believed to be involved in illegal activity.  *Initial observation suggests it appears to be a place where stolen or damaged cars are cut up and put back together.

The place is in Stung Chav Village, Sangkat Chem Mean, Takhmao city. Police officers surrounded the yard on the night of September 27, 2018, and swooped in at dawn on the 28th. The premises are still under police lock-down and more officers are arriving on the scene.
