Man Threatens Wife With Borrowed Gun

Phnom Penh: At 02:50 am on 27 September,  in Chom Chao 3 commune, Por Sen Chey district, Phnom Penh. The husband, Eun Sareth, a shopkeeper threatened to kill his wife, Ly Eang. Police intervened and seized a Glock (?) pistol 15 rounds.

The couple often quarreled after the husband got drunk. Police officers arrested the male and took him for questioning.

The man later admitted to insulting and threatening to kill his wife.

The firearm was a from friend, a police officer in Samloung Lon district, who had been sent to Thailand, and had given it to the suspect to look after.

The suspect was sent to the criminal section of the Porsenchey District Police Inspectorate.
