Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 22 – In the first seven months of 2018, Cambodia-Thailand trade volume reached over $4 billion, an increase of 34.4 percent compared to the same period in 2017, according to the official report of the Thai embassy in Cambodia on Saturday morning.
The report added that Thailand’s imports to Cambodia amounted to $4.1 billion, an increase of 40.6 percent compared to 2017 with $2.9 billion.
Cambodia’s exports to Thailand was $500 million, a decrease of 1.2 percent compared to the same period in 2017 with $506 million.
Cambodia and Thailand had a strong trade relations. Cambodia exports agricultural products to Thailand such as maize, cassava, beans, and so on, and imports Thai machinery, electronics, petroleum, construction materials, cosmetics, food, and home equipment to Cambodia.
