Snakes in the Penh

 

A python was captured and handed over to the Tuol Sangkei police station in Russey Keo at 10 am on September 21, 2018.

According to police, the snake weighs about 11 kilograms and is about two meters long. It was caught eating chickens by local people in Toul Sangke. After capture the snake spat out five young birds it had swallowed.

Phon Sovanna, deputy chief of Toul Sangke 1, said that the snake was handed over to the police would be released into the wild.
